As executive director, Baker supervises the operation of the complex’s main 1,152-seat Luckman Theatre, its re-configurable “black-box” Intimate Theatre, an outdoor amphitheatre, an art gallery and two rehearsal studios. She also manages the annual budget, fund-raising campaigns, marketing and publicity efforts, and educational and outreach programs. Her professional background includes stage-managing the hit Broadway production of “A Chorus Line.” She performed in both the play’s Broadway version and its original London production. Her other Broadway credits include performances in “Coco,” starring Katherine Hepburn, and “Two Gentlemen of Verona,” starring Raul Julia. She also stage-managed several productions, including “Born Yesterday” on Broadway, “Love Letters,” and “Sylvia.”
