CSU Learn is the new online learning portal for faculty and staff. It has an intuitive user interface and provides access to a variety of professional development courses and required compliance training.

To access CSU Learn, log in to the MyCalStateLA Portal with your MyCalStateLA ID account, and then click CSU Learn on the QuickLaunch menu.

FERPA Tutorial

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. All Cal State LA employees, student assistants, graduate assistants, vendors and consultants who have, or potentially may have, contact with student education records must comply with this law. These individuals are required to successfully complete the online FERPA tutorial and test every two years.

The ITS Training Program offers several online courses on Moodle. These courses include video tutorials, handouts, sample data files, slideshows, and assessments. To access a Moodle course, you need to log in to Moodle with your MyCalStateLA ID account.
