Labor Charges

Relocation Charges

Examples of relocation charges include wiring for new voice or data jacks, relocating telephones to a new location without existing voice or data jacks, any work within a department that requires a third-party vendor to pull cable or wiring, or relocations associated with a remodeling project. These charges often involve both vendor time and materials.

Since charges are variable based on the work performed, ITS will evaluate the work involved, prepare an estimate and request approval to proceed from the requesting department prior to commencing work. Requesting departments have the option to request work begin immediately, without waiting for an estimate. In doing so, departments accept responsibility for all associated charges.
